WARSAW, CZESTOCHOWA, ZAKOPANE & KRAKOW
DAY 1:
USA ‑ POLAND
- Today we depart the USA aboard our transatlantic flight to Poland.
Dinner and breakfast will be served during our flight.
DAY 2:
KRAKOW - Upon arrival in Krakow, we will check in to
our hotel. There will be some free time to unpack, freshen up and relax
before we all meet for our Welcome Dinner. After dinner, anyone feeling
up to it can take a stroll through the Old Town. (D)
DAY 3:
KRAKOW - This morning after breakfast, we will be
introduced to the magical town of Krakow. Our local guide will meet us
and take us on a city tour to see the most famous and important sites of
this old town, including Wawel Castle & Cathedral, St Mary's &
the Wit Stwosz Altar, the Market Square with the Renaissance Cloth Hall
(Sukiennice) and more. We will take part in the devotion to the Divine
Marcy at the chapel of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Lagiewniki.

DAY 4: KRAKOW - This morning we will
visit the Royal Salt Mines in Wieliczka. After our tour, we will
have lunch and return to Krakow, where the remainder of the day is at
leisure. This is our last afternoon and evening in this magical town, so
you'll have time for some last minute shopping & exploring. Dinner
& overnight (B, D)
DAY 5:
KRAKOW ‑ ZAKOPANE
- This morning after breakfast,
we bid farewell to Krakow and head south to Zakopane, Poland’s
year‑round vacation destination, Zakopane is nestled at the foot
of the Tatra Mountains and is rich in the traditions & architecture
of the Highlanders (Gorale). We will have an afternoon city tour with
a local guide, including a ride up Gubalowka Hill for a breathtaking
view of the mountains. This evening, a sumptuous dinner, with local folk
music and dancing, awaits us. (B, D)
DAY 6: ZAKOPANE
- Today
we will take a full day excursion through beautiful scenery to visit
Lake Morskie Oko (Eye of the Sea). We will have opportunity for lunch on
the way. Upon returning to Zakopane, the remainder of the day will be
free. Dinner is on your own. (B, L)
DDAY 7: ZAKOPANE - CZESTOCHOWA This morning we will
depart Zakopane and head north to Czestochowa, home of the Jasna Gora
Monastery and the Black Madonna Icon. On the way, we will stop in Nowy
Targ, where every Thursday since 1487 a huge open‑air market takes
place. You'll be able to find some bargains here, including handmade
items like wool sweaters, wooden items and more. We continue on and stop
to visit the infamous Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz located in town
of Oswiecim. We arrive in Czestochowa in the evening. (B, D)
DAY 8:
CZESTOCHOWA
- This morning after breakfast we will meet our guide and visit Jasna
Gora Monastery. You'll see the wondrous icon of the Black Madonna and
the treasury of the Pauline Monastery where priceless art masterpieces
are exhibited. The remainder of the day will be free for private
devotions, more exploring or shopping. Dinner & overnight (B, D)
DAY 9:
CZESTOCHOWA – WARSAW - Today after breakfast, we'll depart Czestochowa and head north to
Poland's modern day capital of Warsaw. Along the way we'll make a stop
for lunch. Depending on the time of our arrival in Warsaw, we may take a
drive to see this bustling town. In the evening we'll meet for dinner.

DAY 10: WARSAW
- This morning we'll visit Wilanow, the Polish Versailles. In the
afternoon we'll meet our local guide for a city tour including the Royal
Route, Old Town, Warsaw Ghetto and more. The remainder of the day will
be free. We will meet back at our hotel for our Farewell Dinner. (B, D)
DAY 11: POLAND
– USA - Today
we bid farewell to Poland. We will be transferred to the airport for our
flight home.
