ON JUNE 24,
1981, in the mountain village of Medjugorje in Herzegovina, Our Lady
appeared to six children. She identified herself as the Blessed Virgin
Mary, Queen of Peace, and continues to appear to the young people
daily. Her mission is to promote peace with God and mankind, through
her Son, Jesus. Mary's own words to the children explained, "I have
come to tell the world that God exists." No other shrine touches
our pilgrims and us more profoundly than Medjugorje. Nowhere else have
we seen such vast conversions over the last 14 years. It has truly been
a blessing for All Star Travel to share in this extraordinary grace.

Boston or New York - Rome or

Depart from Boston’s Logan Int. Airport or New York's JFK Airport on an
overnight flight. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.

2
Dubrovnik
- Medjugorje
After an early morning arrival in Frankfurt or Rome, you will connect
to the flight to Split where
you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver who will then take
you on the 2 1/2 hour drive by private motor coach to the village of
Medjugorje. Once there, you will be introduced to your host family in
whose modern and comfortable house you will be staying for the next
seven nights.
Days
3 to 8 Medjugorje
Each morning at 10 we assemble at St James Church for the
English-language Mass. Your guides will accompany you throughout the
week as you follow the same path up Apparition Hill where the young
visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Contemplate as you climb the
inspired artistry of the bronze plaques depicting each mystery of the
rosary. Touch and pray before the cross which commemorates the spot
where Mary appeared to the visionaries. At 6 pm each evening you are
welcome to join the villagers and pilgrims to pray the rosary. Be
present in the church when the apparitions occur and then stay for the
Croatian Mass and the Blessing of the Sick. Your guide will arrange a
meeting with the visionaries in their own homes. You will see and climb
Krizevac Mountain, where in 1933 the villagers built a thirty-foot
cross on the anniversary of Jesus' crucifixion. Contingent upon his
schedule, you may visit Father Jozo's parish to attend his holy
preaching. When the apparitions began in 1981, Father Jozo was the
pastor of St James parish and is considered by many to be the highlight
of a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.
